Wesley Foundation

We exist to bring people into the Kingdom and to develop meaningful relationships within the city of Statesboro as well as any mission field our members step into. Love is our goal, and God is love. We desire to break chains and set captives free through the power of the Holy Spirit. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Freedom!

Wednesday Nights

Our motivations for meeting is to do nothing but edify the body, welcome new believers into the Kindom, and glorify our Creator-Savior-God. Our Student Servant Leadership Team focuses on hospitality and genuine concern for the students they encounter. On Wednesday nights we come together as a body to worship in every aspect of the word. Through prayer, testimony, rocking praise and worship music, fellowship, teaching and preaching, and just being together in one mind, one Spirit, and one accord… we reach our goal.

As its name suggests, is a Freshmen ministry designed specifically around building meaningful community within and among first-year students. The importance of having a group of friends you can rely on to edify you in Jesus is probably one of the most overlooked aspects of college life. Freshley provides those who come not only a small group of tight-knit brothers and sisters to lean on, but it also gives them an immediate voice into the community of GSU Wesley Foundation. This time on Thursday is dedicated to creating disciples who can then teach others the lifestyle of a faithful believer.
